Bri + Shawn | Governor’s Club Wedding Photography

Bri and Shawn were married April 9, 2011 at the Governor’s Club and we all had a BLAST celebrating their new marriage and dancing the night away! Their gorgeous Brentwood, TN wedding was absolutely divine and the day was complete with perfect weather. I can’t wait to share more soon, but for now here are a couple of photos. Happy Wednesday!

Dan + Diana | A Sweet Nashville Proposal

Dan and Diana. A “portrait session” that quickly escalated into photographing a sweet proposal and then engagement photos! Dan and I have been friends since high school and I was overjoyed to get an email from him saying, “I can help you with #71 on your 101 in 1001 list.” I literally had to stop what I was doing and go look to see what #71 was… Shoot a proposal.

Dan and I schemed a fun plan where we would walk to our ideal spot and then I said, “Oh, I forgot something in my car!” Likely story. Then Dan took the ring box out of my camera bag and then started talking to his sweet girl…

Then he got down on one knee and it was such a special moment… I got goosebumps!

Dan was telling her about her ring as she admired it and exclaimed, “It’s HUGE!”

So this sweet proposal quickly turned into an engagement session, so stay tuned tomorrow for Part II of this sweet session!

Winston Graduated | Number 8 Done!

I’m excited as I look over my 101 in 1001 list and see that I have nearly 20 different things I can cross off that I’ve completed! I’ll be updating you with what I’ve accomplished over the next couple of weeks.

8. Take Winston to obedience school & teach him not to bite.

First off, I’m proud to say that last week Winston graduated from Basic Family Dog Manners class at Dogs and Kat: Dog Training & Behavior Counseling. I’m convinced that the trainer, named Kat, is definitely a dog whisperer! The pictures below are David practicing “come” with the trainer Kat. I seriously love the action shots of furry Winston bounding to Dave. So precious!

As a graduation treat, Kat made all the doggies liver brownies. Winston loved it, I just tried not to smell his breath afterwards!

Now, we did take him to puppy class, but part of my goal was teaching him not to bite…. which we’re still working on!

Holly | Governor’s Club Bridal Portraits

Holly is an absolutely RADIANT Bride!! Yesterday she and her sweet Groom Ryan tied the knot at The Governor’s Club in Brentwood. I can’t wait to share sneak peek photos from their wedding later this week, but in the meantime here are photos from Holly’s Bridal Portrait session that I can now share!

Garden Delights did her gorgeous bouquet, I think it’s stunning! Don’t you?!

These photos remind me of old world Hollywood glamour and her blusher really glams up!

These amazing flowers made me actually giddy when I drove up! I was envisioning the following photo: Holly walking through the two rows of colorful tulips.

Her glowing happiness was contagious!

Holly had a fun entourage that helped her get ready and stay radiantly beautiful throughout our session! Her sweet parents Martha and Bo, her friend and bridesmaid Hannah, her second momma “Susu” and her bridesmaid Samantha.
