Jumping into the Photography Community | Fridays with Kristen
One of the most tangible ways that my photography business has grown and flourished has been as a direct results of my involvement in my local photography community.
Becoming friends with other local photographers has helped me with every single aspect of my business. I’m fortunate in the fact that Nashville has a huge and wonderful photography community that I’ve just jumped into head first. I love going to our Nashville PUG and SmugMug meetings. The first several times I went I would go and listen and anything that they said that I had never heard of (lighting techniques, lenses, camera bodies) I would write them down and go home and read them. These groups are an amazing way to hear success stories from other photographers & see how it can relate to your business.

NO WAY. In fact, I sat down @ the computer with my hair still wet and without makeup this morning to do my video, then I saw how I looked and promptly dried my hair & put makeup on. True story. I usually do my makeup in the car & I rarely ever dry my hair.
