centennial park family portraits | The Luckett Family

You might remember Will from a session we did back in August for his portrait. Well now it was time for the family Christmas card & he was just as adorable!

We had a funny time at Centennial Park the day we took the photos. It was a Saturday in November but it was HOT… I’m talking 75 degrees hot in late November. How crazy is that? So while they look so nice in their black sweaters, they were probably miserable!
Not only that but apparently I wasn’t the only genius photographer who thought Centennial Park would be a fabulous location, me and about 15 other photographers (no exaggeration) were there. When I found a perfect spot to take pictures I wanted to scream, “Kristen Steele Photography claims this spot!” Thanks for bearing the heat guys & I hope you love your Christmas card photos!

This weekend our little friend Cody is turning one!! Courtney had such fun ideas for his photoshoot & she brought along a couple of adorable outfits for him to change into.

First the little Cody was in his dapper sweater vest and was a little nervous in the studio. He kept blinking & wondering what all those flashing lights were!

Then we got some fun family portrait photography into our studio session… and then we had some REAL fun! Cody got to smash in his first birthday cake. At first, he was timid & didn’t know what the cake was. But after Mommy fed him some icing he was hooked!

Brentwood, TN Wedding Photography | The Thirty Something Bride Gets Married

I recently had the amazing opportunity to shoot with Jonathon Campbell and his wife Sharon at a fabulous wedding in Brentwood, TN. The ceremony was held at the quaint and picturesque Owen Chapel Church of Christ and the reception was at Mere Bulles.

The bride, Louise, also known as the Thirty Something Bride was absolutely STUNNING!! I was amazed at how many different elements of the wedding day she had actually made: from handmade matchboxes displayed at the reception to the flower girl’s basket which she donned with two fabulous little birds. {The flower girl named those two birds “chirpy” and “I forget the other one’s name”!}
