Nashville Help Portrait – Come Join Me!

I’m really excited about this project and am proud that it’s originating here in Nashville. I’m going to be photographing on this day and would love for you to come join me! Anyone great at makeup or hair? Let’s make a posse and go take some photos for anyone in need. Watch the video below to see what the project is all about.

I’m open to suggestions as far as where we’ll go and who we’ll take photos of. Who do you know of that’s in need? Who could really benefit from having a professional portrait made?

Stitched With Love

I often get asked “What should we wear for our photoshoot??” and my answer is always, “What you’re comfortable in.”

Finding the perfect outfit for your child’s portrait session is sometimes overwhelming… should you pick a smock dress? a white shirt and jeans?

When I found Stitched With Love I knew I had found the answer. I briefly met Sara Rose at a digital editing workshop hosted by Dove Wedding Photography earlier this Spring and then visited her website and saw all of her gorgeous, handmade items!

You can see below how fun these shirts would be in a photoshoot! Imagine one of the 1 shirts at a 1-year-old birthday party, or the VOLS tank top on the way to a game. GO VOLS!!!!

Belle Meade Children's Photography | Will

The cutest 3 year old ever… Will! Although Will had more fun on this day picking out the biggest stick, we were able to sit down and take some really fun pictures too! We went to Percy Warner Park in Belle Meade to take these portraits.

He showed me all his favorite toys, and the only way we could get him to look at me was for me to balance the toys, or rock or stick on my head. It was hilarious.
